“I have been working with Daniela for 2 months. With her help I have eliminated gluten, dairy, and sugar from my diet—which is something I thought that I would never be able to do. I had been told by a holistic doctor years ago that I was intolerant to these foods but was unable to eliminate them from my diet. After just 2 month I have lost 6 inches from my waist and 27 lbs! At 6’3” I was 277lbs, I am now down to 250lbs. A lot of the weight loss was water weight from eating gluten, which I now realize I am very intolerant to. My face used to be puffy and my joints were all swollen, especially my ankle. All of this swelling is gone now.

I don’t feel deprived at all, I feel lucky that I figured out the cause behind all my health problems.
2 months ago I could walk only .5 miles and then had to stop because I had such bad joint pain. My joint pain drastically reduced when I started my new diet plan and I am now walking 3 miles/day. I used to race road bikes in my younger days, but I could not bend over to reach the handle bars I could not breathe because my big gut squished my lungs. I have started riding my bike again. I could barely fit into my beloved Alfa Romeo because the steering wheel was pushing against my gut! I can fit in my Alfa Romeo much better.
I did go through a detox for about 3 days after eliminating gluten, dairy, and sugar. I wanted bread and sweets. But the cravings were gone after only 3 days, I took a long road trip with my wife 1 week after starting Daniela’s program and had no problem avoiding temptation at gas stations and roadside grease-shacks.
My digestion and energy have improved drastically. I used to feel very tired and sleepy after I ate and had a spastic colon which was quite embarrassing. I even had my gallbladder removed several years ago because my digestion was so bad. I now have very normal digestion and better energy after just a few weeks on Daniela’s program.
Growing up in Italy gave me a true passion for food and cooking. Daniela has taught me to change my cooking style and opened my eyes to how many wonderful things you can make incorporating lots of fruits and veggies so that I don’t miss gluten and dairy. “Cooking and eating healthy has always been a challenge for me. I’m busy. I don’t love to cook. And I have food sensitivities that can make planning meals difficult and tedious! Periodically, I’ll slip into unhealthy eating patterns like eating out last minute, skipping meals or snacking on “organic” packaged foods that are not very nourishing. “Prior to working with Daniela, I saw myself as the roles I play: career woman, mother, and grandma and I did not look at myself as a person. I saw myself as a worker bee focused on doing for others. I thought taking the time to eat healthy and work out was selfish. This led me to be 100 lbs overweight at age 60. I came to the realization that I could not give myself fully to the people I care about because of my physical condition. I could not really get in there and play with my kids and grandkids. I am not the type to sit in a rocking chair and watch life pass me by.
After only 5 weeks of working with Daniela I have given up gluten, dairy, and sugar and added in Green Smoothies and have lost 20 lbs!!! As each day passes and I am more successful, it infuses me with the energy to continue on. It does not feel like a diet, but a food plan I can follow the rest of my life. I can now visualize myself as a slim and healthy person, this is a miracle!
I am learning new recipes from Daniela and am having fun getting creative in the kitchen. I grew up eating meat and potatoes and am now eating foods that are natural and unprocessed. 1,000 hands have not touched them, they come from soil to table. This direct connection to my food makes me feel really good. It is as pure and natural as I can get and that is important to me, and it is not excessively expensive.
