Hi Bernie,
It is great that you are helping your daughter eat healthy.
7 Up and all sodas have things that are not healthy for anyone, whether or not they have autism. A simple alternative is to buy sparkling water and add a teeny drop of liquid stevia and lemon and lime juice. My favorite type of stevia is Sweet Leaf clear liquid stevia: http://www.buywisdom.com/prodinfo.asp?number=STV-CLR. All brands/types of stevia taste very different, and this is the best tasting one I have tried.

Best of luck!
