Ice Cream Everyone Can Enjoy!
Somedays I just need to have something sweet and creamy–and easy to make.
This is why I keep frozen bananas on hand at all times, to make this Ice Cream that does not make me feel sick or leave me with a sugar hangover.
Daniela’s Favorite Ice Cream: Serves 4
- 4 frozen bananas
- 1/4c carob or cocoa powder
- 1T agave nectar (optional)
- 1 to 2 T cold water
Put everything in a vita-mix or other powerful blender and blend until desired consistency reached. Add water if necessary to blend.
For special occasions I buy this Vanilla Island Coconut Bliss Ice Cream. Even folks who can eat ‘regular’ ice cream love it topped with blueberries. They even make ice cream bars but I have not found them yet at my local Whole Foods where I but the ice cream. I am waiting in anticipation for them!
